The scalper is a drum-type sieve.
Thanks to pre-cleaning, the drum screen removes wood particles, corn cobs and other large impurities from the grain. It protects downstream equipment and is intended for terminals, ports, receiving areas and grain, rice and feed processing plants.
The aspiration system is an integral part for the operation of the scalper, which ensures dust removal.
BAUFLEX-engineering engineers were tasked with installing an aspiration system for efficient and uninterrupted operation of the BUHLER LAKA scalper. When selecting an aspiration filter, of course, preference was given to the TAMA CNSB-TI bag filter-cyclone, since this filter was designed specifically for aspiration systems in the grain industry.
Applied solutions and equipment
Filtration: the cyclone bag filter TAMA CNSB-TI ensured effective dust removal and uninterrupted operation of the scalper. The design of the cyclone filter with a tangential inlet, which reduces the dust load on the filter elements, ensures a long service life of the filter and, of course, compliance with all environmental requirements.
Performance: MZ Aspiratori centrifugal fan ensured low energy consumption of the system and ensured operating parameters.
Safety: the explosion-proof design of the filter made it possible to ensure the safety of personnel and production in the event of a dust explosion inside the filter.
